The location:  Chapel Hill is located in the center of NC; it is vibrant, inventive and fun!  You will feel right at homwe here.  Experience the creativity of the local artists, authors, storytellers, musicians and chefs.  The vast richness of the place we know as Orange County is a colorful destination overflowing with history, beauty and energy.

Cost:  $235.00, which will include your membership to the My Transformation Circles Membership Advantage. 

My Transformation Circles is an organization drawing people from across the U.S. and Internationally to share in "Community, Balance and Transformation".  Offering special Retreat locations at affordable pricing. 

Lodging:  If traveling from out of town, arrive and settle into Chapel Hill, NC, a charming and vibrant college town.  The main street,Franklin Street, features a wide array of restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and entertainment.  Choose from a wonderful selection of places to stay,  including my favorite Carolina Inn, sophisticated and cozy.  Recommended for its quaint, retreat feel, located within walking distance from Franklin Street and 10 minutes by car to the Retreat or a free shuttle ride.  Please see options below.

Transportation:  Rental cars are available at the airport.  If you'd like to take a taxi, RDU Airport Taxi will take you from arrival to Chapel Hill, for reservations call 919-214-0475.  The Raleigh-Durham International Airport is located 25 minutes away.  Carolina Inn does provide free transportation to the Retreat and can be scheduled upon arrival. 

Retreat Agenda

Saturday, August 29th

10:00am – Arrive at Clearwater Retreat enjoy Ayurvedic teas and a house specialty - Bliss Balls, a healthy snack

10:30-12:00- Yoga and Meditation on the lovely grounds of the Retreat, restoring body and mind

12:00-1:00 – Ayurvedic vegetarian lunch, using a variety of spices and color to entice your palate

1:00-2:00 – Discover your Mind/Body Constitution (Whats your Dosha?)

2:00-5:00- Ayurveda and Food as Medicine

5:00-6:00 – Yoga and Meditation to connect within and rejuvenate

6:00pm – Return to Carolina Inn or Lodging of Choice

7:00pm – Group Dinner at Cholanad Restaurant which delivers a South Indian culinary experience in a world class style.  (www.cholanad.com).  Belinda will join the group for dinner. 

Sunday

9:00-10:30 – Yoga and Meditation connecting to our stillness within

10:30 – 12:00 – Mindfulness exercises – experiential activities

12:00-1:00 – Enjoy a tasty Ayurvedic Lunch filled with flavor

1:00-2:00 – Personal time at Retreat – Journaling (journal provided as gift)

2:15pm – Depart for site seeing in Chapel Hill, Carrboro (list provided, Belinda is happy to tour folks around Carrboro and Chapel Hill.

Site Seeing in Chapel Hill and Carrboro:  Enjoy yourself walking the streets, experiencing, seeing and tasting the many places they offer.  It is truly a gem.  A few of my favorite things:  The Planetarium, Art Gallery(Franklin Street), Jessie's Coffee Shop in Carrboro, Carrboro Mill for shops and check out the Oasis.  The campus of UNC is beautiful, the clothing shops are a delight along with the UNC Clothing Shops.  I enjoy Med Deli(Mediterranean) for lunch, 411 West is a Superb Italian Restaurant, my favorites.   Feel free to ask Belinda for any questions or suggestions you might wish to know.
